Being a small and flexible team, we focus on the detail. Consultancy and Training is about understanding needs and ensuring the services we offer meet high standards with positive outcomes for businesses, delegates and service users. Our goal is to develop a meaningful relationship with clients.
Why is training important?
Training is about personal growth and developing skills to a specified standard and beyond. HTA want to provide valued instruction and practice for delegates, identifying specific tools to support a delegate in position where they can fulfill their role effectively and consciously.
By increasing knowledge and skills it allows the individual to embrace a particular process for a definite purpose, whilst encouraging the individual to explore and question other themes and topics in every aspect of their role, making a real and meaningful contribution to their professional development.
Our aim is to motivate delegates, enabling them to acknowledge what a rewarding and fulfilling career they find themselves in. We want delegates to foster an ethos whereby they are curious in the various aspects of the job they do, are keen to explore and enquire, and additionally, develop a creative and fresh approach to every story presented by an individual in their care.

How can HTA support professional development?
Our dynamic and experienced team do not rehearse the same content over and again but use it as a foundation to explore the topics that matter to you. We actively review and assess the content we use incorporating new and creative learning activities. Planning is an integral part of the training process, we consider every session carefully and modify content to meet the needs of learners.
Facilitating information is a simple process, but our subject knowledge allows us to explore and question content in session, giving us a real indication of what delegates currently know, we respond to this and ensure that all learners make progress regardless of their current knowledge.
Assessment is a word that often disarms learners, if you need formal assessment, we can provide a friendly and supportive approach with a range of strategies at hand. Outcomes are important, but progress can be mapped and achieved in various ways, we truly believe in supporting learning needs and are keen to see each learner succeed.
Who can HTA support?
Courses are predominantly aimed at the care and education sector but please do get in touch if you feel our ethos and expertise lends itself to your needs.
Our mandatory courses provide a comprehensive induction to those in residential childcare. Although we prefer face to face training, these can also be delivered online. Therapeutic courses are delivered to cohorts in the same way, often take-up is delivered to specific teams and require prior consultation regarding service users to establish a focus for the training.
